The Blue Label hemp extract is decarboxylated, which simply means it’s been heated to a controlled temperature to activate its phytocannabinoids. In short, this turns the CBDA compounds into CBD. How to Use

The Blue label hemp extract is packaged in an easy-to-use oral syringe. Simply dispense the oil on your finger or a spoon and place it under your tongue.  Allow the oil to absorb into your body by keeping the oil under your tongue for 60-90 seconds, and then swallow whatever is left over.

Serving Size

This product is a thick, paste-like substance, which makes measuring the servings a little unique. The recommended serving size is the size of a grain of rice (as pictured on the left) once or twice daily. That can be safely increased or decreased as needed. Each rice-sized piece has approximately 4mg-5mg proprietary cannabinoid blend.

The only negative side effect reported to us is stomach discomfort when excessively large amounts are consumed, which is common with oil-based products.

The Three Versions of Hemp Extract

There are three versions of Proprietary Hemp Extract (PHE) available, each with noticeable differences that should be considered.

Raw Label

Let’s start with the Raw (also called the “Green”) version. As its name suggests, this is the first raw version of the oil. It is extracted from the plant and packaged; no heating or filtering is applied. The Raw version is a full-spectrum, whole plant oil with the composition nature intended it to have.

You’ll find a multitude of cannabinoids and terpenes in the Raw version. It’s dark in color and has a paste-like consistency.

Blue Label

The Blue version is made by taking the Raw version and heating it up to a controlled temperature. This process (called decarboxylation) is a common practice for “activating” all of the phytocannabinoids. For those looking to get the most phytonutrients possible without filtering the oil, the Blue version is ideal. The Blue hemp oil is a thick paste and is very dark in color. (Please note: the consistency may vary by batch, so be careful when dispensing for the first time.)

Gold Label

Finally, we have the Gold version. We’ve taken the pure extract of the plant to create the Raw, then heated it up to create the Blue and now the oil is filtered to create the Gold. The filtering process removes some of the extra plant parts, which changes the oil’s color to a light orange and the consistency to a gel. This version is for those looking for the highest phytocannabinoid concentration available, with little interest in the other components of the plant.
